Cellist
Alex Kirby is a high school junior enrolled in a STEM curriculum. His ongoing passion with cello began with lessons at age 3 ½. He has performed with The Capital Symphonic Youth Orchestra, McLean Youth Orchestra, class recitals, charity events, cello choirs, and church functions. He has been invited to return to the U. of Tennessee, to perform in a master class and perform at the 2023 cello competition. Alex enjoys playing the Euphonium with his school band and was selected for the Fairfax County 12th All District Band. Alex also plays on the varsity lacrosse team.
