Violinist

Kailey Suh, age 18, is a violinist and sophomore at Cornell University, studying biology on the pre-med track. Kailey started the violin at age 6 under the tutelage of Ms. Margaret Shimizue at the Colburn School. She currently studies with Mr. YoonJae Park. She served as the concertmaster of the Harvard-Westlake symphony from 2017-2018 and 2019-2021. She has also served as a member in the Colburn String Ensemble and Colburn String Orchestra. Kailey made her first solo debut in 2018, performing Zigeunerweisen with the LA Sinfonietta Orchestra, and returned in 2019 to perform the 3rd movement of Bruch's violin concerto with the SCALA Symphony Orchestra. In the past, Kailey has also had the privilege of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York and BOZAR Hall in Belgium.
