Lily Li

In her 20-year career as a musician, learner, and educator, Lily Li has had many experiences that have shaped her philosophy towards teaching. She received her BA in Music Education with a piano concentration from Xinghai Conservatory of Music in China, and a Master’s degree in Music Performance with a concentration in collaborative piano at the State University of New York at Fredonia. Her education also includes involvement with a number of professional certification programs, including the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). She has toured throughout southern China, performed in ensembles for university recitals, juries, opera scenes, and so on, as well as for church services, and private events. Her teaching experience ranges from students ages 4-84, from all levels and backgrounds both in the United States and China. Currently she has a private piano studio in Fredonia, New York, and serves as the director of music at Fredonia Presbyterian Church.. She takes great pride and joy in the privilege of witnessing the building of confidence and continuing development of her students.  Her students have had much success participating in programs such as The Piano Guild, and RCM examinations.
