Teddy Wang was born in New York City and began studying the violin at the age of four. In addition to violin, Teddy also showed interests in learning piano. Despite his young age, Teddy demonstrated superior musicality in his instrument playing, a reflection of his sensitive nature. He has won second place in the Elite Music Competition for piano in 2020 and for violin in 2022. Also in 2022, Teddy performed at Lincoln center as a member of Greater Westchester Youth Orchestra, He is the concertmaster at his elementary school orchestra since grade four and sometimes performs as piano accompanist His teacher is Elizabeth Faidley. Outside of music activities, Teddy likes art, cooking and playing soccer.
