Violinist

16-year-old Tiffany Tsui is an interdisciplinary artist attending Trinity School in New York City. She plays the violin and piano, sang with Broadway Youth Ensemble, and is a ballerina who trained at the School of American Ballet for 7 years. Tiffany studies violin with Nurit Pacht at Kaufman Music Center's Young Artist Program. She has won many international awards including first prizes with International Youth Music Competition, Vivo International Music Competition, London Young Musician, Grand Prize Virtuoso in Bonn, Germany, NY State Music Teachers’ Association Heddy Killian Competition, Rising Stars of America competition, American Protégé as well as awards with American Youth Musician Union International Competition, Rondo Young Artist Competition, Forte International Music Competition, and Kings Peak International Competition. This spring, her piano trio won the Anselmo Academy International Youth Competition, American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition, and the Chamber Music Society’s Young Musician competition, where they performed at Lincoln Center. Also this past year, Tiffany's string quartet "Tetrad" won first prize in the USA Classical Music International Competition. Both ensembles were also prize winners at the Great Composers Competition 2022.
In middle school, Tiffany was one of 2 violinists chosen from NY State Middle Schools to perform with NY Pops Orchestra and Cindy Lauper at Carnegie Hall in the Kids on Stage program. Tiffany was cast for 4 seasons at the Metropolitan Opera, and she danced for 5 years in over 100 shows with NY City Ballet. She volunteers weekly with Ballet and Beyond, teaching dance to elementary school children. Tiffany loves puppies, reading, photography.
